I am a big fan of mc Chris's music. The first song I heard of his was on [adult swim]'s Sea Lab 2021 when they played Fett's Vet. I thought it was coolest song ever since it was about Boba Fett and was sung by the guy that played Hesh. After that I started looking for other stuff by mc Chris and found his album "Life's a Bitch and I'm her Pimp"(2001). It only had 4 songs and 4 skits and the skits were not that impressive but the songs all rocked hard and were all very Nerdcore in nature.

Each album after added more complex songs that ranged from Nerdcore to rock and the skits improved and started to take on a story. The story element was present in his second album "Knowing is half the hassle"(2003) but didn't seem to connect with the skits from the first album.
His third album "Eating's Not Cheating"(2004) didn't have any skits and only a hand full of songs that really rocked but it did have 11 to 14 tracks depending on what version you got. The skits really came together with the release of is 4th album "Dungeon Master of Ceremonies"(2006) where he hinted at future songs and generally made a fucking hiliarious set of skits (The Package skit is beyond funny. mc chris meets Jesus and they have a little chat about sex) . The songs of DMC didn't really do as well as some of his other works but he had some good tracks and the skits made the album worth buying.

His 5th album "mc chris is dead"(2008) Finally proved that he can create great songs and great skits on the same album. He has 4 mega hits on this album as well as few good songs and one or two b sides. The level of comedy on the skit side has improved as well and to make things even better, this album's skit story ties to the ones from DMC making for a continuation of a narative that makes you want to listen to the next album just to find out what happens next.

His 6th album "mc chris Goes to HELL"(2010) introduces a track list made up of all the song titles listed in a skit in his 4th album DMC as well as his best songs ever. There is only 1 or 2 songs on this album that I might skip to get to another one but usually I just hit play and let it go with repeat on. The top songs of this album are "006", "IG-88's '57 Chevy", "Neville", "Japanese Maid" and "Smackababy". This album only has two skits but they are super powerful skits that tie the album together and hint at the upcoming album "Race Wars" which if it's anything like the promo skit it will fuck you up forever.

He released a kids album last week called "Marshmellow Playground" which is ok but is not on par with his earlier albums. Granted it is for kids and most kids will love it but I really want to listen to "Race Wars" which should be released this summer if he is in the studio today recording the raw tracks.

As you see above his album art is also impressive and his cartoon character of himself is well loved and shows up on clothing and comic strips and may even become a show on [adult swim] god willing. mc chris is also a supporter of the fight against Cystic Fibrosis which his nephew lives with.
