Rihanna is back to her dance roots with Only Girl from her new album loud. Is it Pure Pop Perfection?
I really liked Rated R, Rihanna's last album even though it went against her really dancey songs for the most part and focused on more gritty songs (most likely due to the Chris Brown incident).
With Only Girl, the first single from her new album Loud, coming out on November 16, she's back to her style from her first 3 albums which I think most fans will be thankful for. I'd like a combo of both of her styles as sometimes her dancey stuff was a little corny to me, but when it produces PPP like Umbrella or Please Dont Stop the Music, I'm not complaining.
Luckily for all of us, Only Girl might just live up to the potential of those, and I think I can officially stamp it as PPP certified.
